Clueless as to where and when to find the next bus in the city? If this app is all that it claims to be, your troubles may come to an end.
An app called ‘myJourney’ is said to provide commuters information about available routes and types of public transport such as the LRT or RapidKL buses and taxis.
“Even if the users do not know where they are, they still can use this app on their mobile phones to get to their destinations,” Mapit MSC Sdn Bhd’s software engineer Choong Pak Wai told Bernama.
The app has yet to be launched but according to Choong, the next phase of the app will give users live updates such as real time data on bus services and allow users to file complaints through a feedback system.
The app was designed with the support of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) as well as the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD).
