Three civil servants attached to the Negeri Sembilan Islamic Religious Affairs Department (JHEAINS) were charged at a magistrate’s court in Seremban on Monday for allegedly using fake medical certificates (MCs).
According to a report by Bernama, the three accused – Mazlan Ahmad, 48, Rosyanizam Yahya, 38 and Muhamad Hafiz Mohamad Sarpan, 33 – pleaded not guilty before Magistrate Rahimah Rahim.
It was reported that Mazlan faced three charges of using fake MCs between 2 Nov and 12 Dec 2015, while Muhamad Hafiz faced four counts of using fake MCs between Feb 27, 2014 and Nov 11, 2015.
Rosyanizam, meanwhile, faced 13 counts between Dec 22, 2014 and April 18, 2016.
The three accused were allowed bail of between RM1,200 and RM1,700 for each charge in one surety.
The court has set June 21 for re-mention.
