Ernest Zacharevic has certainly made a name for himself with his thoughtful, emotional and sometimes fourth-wall-breaking street art, bringing him acclaim (in Penang) and notoriety (in Johor).
His latest piece is a massive six-storey tall mural along Jalan Gereja downtown, done as a commissioned work for Allianz Bank entitled Kampungku. Along with filmmaker Ronaldas Bouzis and scorer Jacques Gaspard Biberkopf, Zacharevic has put together a fascinating video lightly detailing the process behind the creation of this huge art piece:
