In yet another case of scary mobile phone incidents, a man in Kedah was left with injuries to his face, chest and arm when he attempted to answer a call while his divice was plugged in to charge.
This incident, involving a 28-year-old man in Yan, comes soon after the tragic demise of a mother of three in Cheras last week, who was electrocuted to death while using her charging mobile phone.
According to Kedah Health Department director Datuk Dr Norhizan Ismail, the explosion had cause Muhammad Syawal Md Isa to bleed in his right ear.
“There was also bleeding in his right ear, with the eardrum believed to have ruptured due to the the explosion,” Bernama quoted him as saying.
Ophthalmologists had also found objects in his right eye which caused damage to his cornea.
