A man who rescued a cat that was covered in white paint and left to die has sparked outrage and sympathy on social media.
The man, who goes by the name of @izzat_bashir posted on X recently showing the condition of the cat he found near a drain.

He wrote: “If you don’t like animals, don’t be cruel. You can put them elsewhere but don’t be cruel. This is sad. I have informed the relevant authorities to handle this.”
The video shows the feline struggling to move or open its eyes; the way it meowed was also very mellow.
Bashir eventually showered the cat and the furbaby turned out to be a stripped little kitten.
