A car accident in Kota Tinggi early Saturday morning claimed the life of a 23-year-old while his two friends were left injured, Bernama reports.
R. Eswaran, 23, from Bandar Mahkota Batu 9 Cheras died on the spot from serious head injuries, the news agency said, while his two friends survived the crash.
It was reported that the three were on their way to Desaru beach for a vacation when their vehicle collided with another car at Kilometer 46, Jalan Sungai Rengit-Kota Tinggi, near Felda Air Tawar 2.
Bernama reported that five people in their other car were taken to the Kota Tinggi Hospital (HKT) for treatment.
