A woman was killed when she got her arm stuck in a flour mixer machine on Tuesday.
According to The Star Online, the woman, identified as 42-year-old Noridah Nasir, reportedly died at a factory in Taman Perindustrian Desa Plentong in Johor Baru.
The factory reportedly produces cakes for a popular chain restaurant.
Johor Baru South OCPD Asst Comm Sulaiman Salleh told the news portal that Noridah was busy at work when her right hand somehow became entangled in the mixer.
The force of the mixer then reportedly dragged her into the machine, killing her instantly.
ACP Sulaiman added that they received an emergency call from one of the factory workersat around 12.43pm.
“We received a distress call and rushed to the scene to find that the victim was already dead,” ACP Sulaiman was quoted as saying.
ACP Sulaiman added that Noridah’s body was sent to the Sultan Ismail Hospital for a post-mortem.
