This sex toy did not give passengers of an AirAsia flight any pleasure at all.
A buzzing vibrator caused a mild panic at the Chiang Mai International Airport as airport staff thought it was a ticking time bomb, UK’s The Daily Star reported.
According to the news portal, an AirAsia staff reportedly heard a buzzing sound and noticed something shaking inside a green rucksack as they were loading it onto the plane on Wednesday.
Thinking that the bag was packed with explosives, the staff immediately radioed for bomb disposal experts, who rushed to the scene.
However, the experts as well as the staff breathed a sigh of relief after discovering that the cause of the buzzing was a silver bullet-shaped sex toy which had accidentally turned on.
“We noticed the bag was shaking and there was a buzzing noise coming from inside. Obviously we were pretty scared because this could have been a bomb or some other explosive device.
“But when the experts arrived they opened up the package and it was just a sex toy,” a bag handler, who wished to remain anonymous, told the news portal.
The handler added that the owner of the bag had no idea that their little sex toy caused a security alert.
“I think they would be deeply embarrassed if they found out,” he was further quoted as saying.
The ‘security alert’, however, reportedly caused a flight delay of only five minutes, as AirAsia flight FD3438 left for Bangkok Don Mueang at 8.30am.
So, in the end, it was a happy ending for everyone after all.
