Businessman’s gold Rolls Royce, Lamborghini seized by the police

Looks like this businessman’s golden rides are not so golden anymore.

The Star Online reports that a gold Rolls Royce Phantom and a yellow Lamborghini Aventador belonging to a Kelantanese businessman were seized by the police.

City police chief Comm Datuk Amar Singh told the news portal that the multi-million dollar vehicles were impounded over two seperate offences.

The RM3.5 million Rolls Royce Phantom, with the registration number plate ‘DSS’, was seized at a valet parking facility at Tower B of the Pavilion shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur on October 17.

The next day, the police seized the RM1.8 million Lamborghini with the number plate ‘G1M 5555’ at the same area.

The police also arrested a 30-year-old man, believed to be the businessman’s chauffeur, to facilitate investigations.

According to Amar, the Rolls Royce was not registered with the Road Transport Department (JPJ).

The Lamborghini, meanwhile, was registered but had recorded a number of offences against Customs Department regulations.

The businessman, who is in his 50s, is currently abroad and wasn’t present when police seized his cars.
