Bruno Mars tickets have sold out, already reselling for 3 times original price

Get ready to cry over Versace on the Floor: Bruno Mars tickets went on sale earlier today, and sold out within 45 minutes. Concert organizer PR Worldwide launched sales at 10am sharp, and faster than you can say ‘that’s what I like,’ they were gone.

Mr Mars will grace our shores next year May 9, at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil National Sports Complex.

Tickets prices ranged between RM398 (US$93) and RM888 (US$207) to see the artist perform his 24K Magic World Tour. Tickets have already found themselves on the resale market, with Viagogo offering a starting price of RM1,200 (US$280) and going up to RM3,400 (US$792) for a single ticket. Expect those figures to rise.

PR Worldwide managing director R. Para has urged fans not to buy from scalpers, or secondary ticket websites. A Facebook page statement from the company read to, ‘stay tuned’ for any announcements on further ticket sales, after speaking to the artist production team. So… there’s hope.

So far, only one other Southeast Asian date has been announced, with Manila’s Mall of Asia hosting Mars, real name Peter Gene Hernandez, hosting him May 3.

Sorry Singapore, not just yet.
