BREAKING: Former PM Najib Razak arrested by Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission

Less than an hour ago, former Prime Minister Najib Razak was yet again arrested by Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission officials in connection to a deposit of (US$630 million) that found itself in his personal account.

MACC officials released a statement, writing that the arrest was made at 4:13pm at their headquarters in Putrajaya, Wednesday September 19.

Najib will now wait to be brought to court at 3pm tomorrow, to face a litany of charges under Section 23 (1) of the MACC Act at Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court .
