BREAKING: DCA Director-General to speak on MH370 at 6pm, RTM1

Shortly after a 4pm press conference at Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) headquarters in Putrajaya was abruptly cancelled, it has been announced that DCA Director-General Azharuddin Abdul Rahman is set to appear on RTM1 to speak on the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370.

The press conference, scheduled at 3.30pm, was cancelled at the last minute, with the DCA citing “unforeseen circumstances” and leaving a hall full of international media and family members of the people on board the missing aircraft frustrated and confused.

Flight MH370 disappeared off the radar in the early hours of March 8 last year, while en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. There were 239 people on board the plane.

The aircraft was declared lost at sea somewhere in the South Indian Ocean by Prime Minister Najib Razak on March 24.
