A teenager startled everyone when he stripped naked and turned up at his martial arts teacher’s house.
He then challenged the teacher to a fight, a Berita Harian report said, translated by The Star Online.
The 19-year-old from Batu Caves, believed to be mentally unstable, had gone to his teacher’s house in Kampung Laksamana in Gombak at 7 in the morning, visibly upset that he could not complete his silat training.
It was reported that the boy screamed and threatened to burn his teacher’s house. Neighbours heard the commotion and rushed to retrain the boy.
Gombak police chief ACP Ali Ahmad, quoted by BH, said the whole incident had been captured on closed circuit television camera (CCTV).
He added that the boy attempted to run away by entering a neighbour’s house and grabbing a 58-year-old woman who was inside. Nobody was hurt in the incident.
The boy was later handed over to police, the report said.
