A boy plunged to his death from the balcony of his family’s 20th floor unit in a Kota Damansara condominium last night.
The nine-year-old had been standing on an air-conditioner unit outside the balcony before he slipped and fell, The Star Online reports.
The boy’s 17-year-old sister told police that he had climbed over the balcony onto the air-conditioner, while waiting for his mother to return home. His sister and 16-year-old brother were at home at the time of the incident.
“Their parents have not returned from work then. The boy would usually play at the balcony while waiting for his mother to return. His sister did not see him going to the balcony as she was taking a bath,” ACP Mohd Zani Che Din was quoted as saying.
