The body of a woman — believed to be a foreigner — was found dumped near a drain in Alam Impian, Shah Alam yesterday.
Clad in a white t-shirt, blue jeans and a green belt, the woman had died from blunt force trauma to her head, The Star Online’s Nicholas Cheng reports — her head was bloodied and injuries were seen on her back, ears and arms.
Confirming the case with the portal, Shah Alam deputy OCPD Supt Ruslan Abdullah said the body was found in front of a sales gallery along Jalan Hang Nadim 35/27.
Police believe the woman to be in her 20s or 30s and may have been killed elsewhere before the body was dumped at the site.
“We are unable to ascertain her identity or nationality as checks found she did not have a BCG mark. Her height is about 1.6 metres. We hope the family of this victim can come forward to claim her body and to assist us in the investigation,” he told The Star Online.
