A woman’s wedding photos have gone viral after the happy bride posted pictures from the day to her Instagram account.

Aiffa Syakirin Abd Majid, a plus-sized, body-positive Malaysian woman met her Moroccan husband while she was working as a driver for ride-sharing app Grab.

Two years ago, Badr Kebdani was traveling through Singapore and Malaysia on vacation when he booked a Grab car to take him to Johor’s Senai airport. At the time, Aiffa was working as a part-time nanny, as well as a part-time driver, and as fate would have it, that day she picked up Badr.

She describes herself as a “friendly and outgoing person” and she chatted with her passenger the entire way to the airport.

Mutually enjoying the conversation as much as they did, the two exchanged numbers, and it was a matter of time before they began texting each other regularly. By the time Badr returned to Morocco from his travels, the two used WhatsApp, Skype, and Facebook to communicate. They did this for a year, eventually turning their friendly banter into a romantic long-distance relationship (aka, the LDR, aka long distance is the wrong distance).

After maintaining their LDR for another year, Badr returned to Malaysia when he had a break over the Moroccan winter. It was then that he told Aiffa he was in love with her, and proposed.

The two were married over the weekend, and the posts via her Instagram account @missjumboqueen have received nearly 12,000 likes from Malaysians and beyond. Many were moved by their love story, as well as the body-positive acceptance from the couple.

Aiffa added that her “husband loves me for who I am, not how I look like. He has never made me felt self-conscious about my weight and says that he loves my cheerful, honest and loving personality. He really touched me by purposely coming all the way here to propose to me and meet my family, which is why I accepted him.”

Gurl, you get yours! Congrats to the couple, and may you have many happy trips around the sun.
