An extra special gong xi fa cai awaits fans of Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak’s Facebook page Ah Jib Gor: He’s giving away ang pau (money envelope) in conjunction with the Chinese New Year, which falls on February 16.
The year of the dog just got wild, awoooooooo!
This is not the first time the PM has given away limited-edition CNY ang pau to his Ah Jib Gor fans – he’s been generously encouraging likes since 2013.
Lou Sang, everyone’s favorite prosperity-promising tossed salad enjoyed especially across the Malaya peninsula, is his chosen theme of envelope design. Writing in Mandarin on his Facebook page, he told followers that it’s not only a favorite of his, but also a national heritage food.
The envelopes depict a cartoon version of the PM along with other Malaysian races enjoying the tossed salad, as well as other CNY delights.
