Battle Royale: Man finds two snakes trying to eat each other in his chicken coop

It was a strange (but fascinating) sight for one man when he found not one, but two large snakes in his chicken coop struggling to eat each other.

According to The New Straits Times, the man from Kampung Gadong Jaya near Seremban made the startling discovery at around 8.40pm on Sunday.

Seremban Civil Defence Force (APM) operation head Private V Yogeswaran told the daily that the man had gone to check on his chicken coop after hearing a loud noise coming from the area.

When he entered the coop, he was stunned to find a 2.5-meter King Cobra on the floor.

However, when he took a closer look, he realised that the King Cobra was struggling to swallow something.

“He found what looked like one rather large snake on the floor. But when he took a closer look, he was shocked to find a King Cobra swallowing a python,” Yogeswaran was quoted as saying.

The fascinating thing was; none of his chickens were missing as the reptiles were too consumed with each other.

The man then reportedly alerted the APM, and a team of officers was dispatched to the scene.

It took the men five minutes to catch the King Cobra, which reportedly weighed about 8kg.

Yogeswaran told the daily that the snake was sent to the Wildlife and National Parks Department.
