Broke-a** netizens everywhere could hardly believe their luck – according to reports in Sin Chew Daily, as well as a Facebook posting, local “on-demand, ad tech company” MyRodeo was offering to redecorate private vehicles in exchange for cash. Oh, word?
The catch? Your car will be plastered with Barisan Nasional decals in exchange for cash. Oh, you know what? Nvm.

Just how much were they offering? The Chinese daily was reporting a cool RM300 (US$77) to turn your car into a motorized flag from now until the campaign ends May 4. Expect RM150 upfront, and receive the remaining RM150 once the campaign is over, including a recent pic to prove you haven’t ripped off the eye-sore.

A MyRodeo employee told the paper that they were getting 50-60 car owners daily requesting that their cars become adorned with the bright blue pan-balance logo.

Most recently, the company was offering their services at a Bangsar Petronas station; however, they change their installation locations frequently, and advised followers to check Facebook.

The public may be short on cash, but as it turns out, many were not short on taste: Everyone pretty much agreed that the cars were just a tad tacky.

Today, Umno politicians are denying any knowledge of the campaign, claiming that they have no idea who is responsible.
Datuk Hishamudin Yahya, a party spokesman, went as far as accusing the opposition at being behind this. Apparently, paying citizens to decorate their cars with your rival’s logo is their latest tactic in “confusing the public.”
While no one has yet to come forward to claim responsibility for sticker-saga, if you fancy changing up your car’s look, MyRodeo asks that you message them on their Facebook page for the limited and exclusive opportunity.
