Bargain of the week: Scorned woman sells husband and his ‘girlfriend’ on Carousell for less than RM1

We’ve never used Carousell, the popular consumer to consumer online marketplace platform, but we imagine it’s the kind of place that is filled with pre-loved clothes that no longer fit, and Xbox games that aren’t supported by your new console.

For one women, the site has become a useful place to upload and shame her alleged cheating husband, and his purported girlfriend. She offered the pair up for sale, with her husband going for the bargain basement price of 1 sen (less than a penny!), and his lady friend at 50 sen (a dime! a bargain!).

The uploading account hanz.letty described her cheating man as a “used” item, posted his photo and listed him under Women’s Accessories.

She wrote:

“Selling cheap. Cheater. Doesn’t come back home to family. Loves clubbing. Womanizer. Drunk. Sleeps around but makes up a sob story by claiming he passed out in the car. Isn’t that sweet? Awww.”

You had us at “cheap,” but lost us at “cheater,” Hanz.

His lady friend was not spared of the scorned woman’s savagery, although she listed for slightly more. She listed her as used, in the Men’s Accessories category, included a profile photo and accompanying description.

Get ready:

“A widow. The trick is he blocks this lady [on his mobile] when he comes home. He said that this girl owes him money and he wants to find her, and he has called her many times. The funniest part is that the girl didn’t block him. He blocked her. [LOL – you busted, boi]  He said that he called the girl many times, right? But, her number is not saved in his call history. Very funny la. [We’re confused at this part, is “u” hanz, or the girlfriend? Does the seller allow questions?]. He tried to justify his actions by claiming that I do that too, but I’m not an idiot; instead he’s afraid of his own shadow.”

We’re confused about this product, hanz.letty. We’d like to ask you some questions before you give you 50 sen for this rather unlucky lady. If we’re satisfied with the answer, we’re wondering how can we pay you? Our bank has an RM1 minimum, and not even both of these guys come up to a Ringgit combined.
