Looks like the Ayer Keroh toll booth has turned into an accident magnet.
The toll booth which was rammed by an eight-tonne trailer earlier this month was rammed yet again, this time by an overloaded lorry.
According to The New Straits Times, the back of the lorry, which was reportedly overloaded, knocked into the side of the toll booth as the driver was driving through on Tuesday.
Thankfully, no one was hurt as the toll booth was unmanned when the incident happened, a North-South Expressway (PLUS) spokesperson told the daily.
In case you were wondering, yes; it’s the exact same toll booth which was damaged by the 34-year-old trailer driver earlier this month. A female toll booth operator reportedly sustained minor injuries in the July 8 incident.
And they say lightning doesn’t strike the same place twice.
