A group of 15 armed robbers broke into the home of a government-linked company’s president early yesterday and reportedly took off with a loot worth more than RM600,000
The Star Online reports that the 54-year-old had been in the master bedroom of his Taman Tun Abdul Razak home when the security alarm went off at 4.50am.
According to the portal, he then check the closed-circuit television camera and spotted three men in his house. This made him lock the bedroom door, but the men, armed with parang, broke it down and demanded to know his valuables were placed.
They escaped with RM300,000 worth of jewellery, RM300,000 worth of luxury watches and four handphones.
