A woman was robbed in broad daylight when she went to pick her child up from kindergarten in Subang Jaya on Monday.
In the 11.15am incident, the 46-year-old homemaker had just driven her Toyota Avanza to the school at Jalan USJ4/1K.
The Star Online reports that as she got out of the vehicle, two men wearing full-face helmets stepped out of a Toyota Vios. One of them had reportedly been armed with a metre-long machete.
One of them snatched her car keys and the pair sped off in both cars.
Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Yahaya Ramli was quoted as saying that while the woman – known as Lau – was unhurt, she also lost her purse and mobile phone.
