Mad at not being allowed to withdraw RM10,000 from his bank account, a man in Alor Setar, Kedah decided to take matters — and a Molotov cocktail — into his own hands.
Bernama reports that the man, believed to be in his 30s, threw the bomb at a bank around 4pm on Wednesday after he was told an hour earlier that he could not get the money as his account had been closed.
Kedah CID chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Nashir Ya said the man rode a motorcycle towards the bank and hurled the bomb at the bank’s entrance.
His action was recorded on a closed-circuit camera,” Mohd Nashir said. He was arrested at his home in Kuala Kedah the same day.
