Cosmetics tycoon Datuk Seri Aliff Syukri Kamarzaman, isn’t just a man known for founding and leading the multi-million dollar beauty product company D’Herbs Holdings Sdn Bhd.

Aliff is also a man who this week had his Rolls Royce impounded by the Road Transport Department (JPJ – also, who can I buy a beer at JPJ?), after officials found that his road tax was only valid in Sarawak, where fees are considerably cheaper, by RM15,000 (US$3,700) to be precise.

Surely, a drop in the bucket for the CEO of burgeoning beauty empire?

His company, D’Herbs, is the kind of place you go to if you believe a series of teas, juices and sachets will make you lose weight, and you’d like them coming from a dapper man in a puce suit, with burgundy accents, and a canary yellow tie. OH HEY!

When contacted by the media regarding the seizure, Aliff feigned ignorance over the situation, telling reporters he was currently on business in Indonesia.

Initially maintaining that there was a Rolls Royce in his driveway, and it had not been impounded, he declined to clarify if it was the same vehicle as the one in question.

He added that while he did have several traffic summonses to his name, he saw no other possible reason to take the car.

After netizens lambasted the millionaire’s attempt to save a few bucks on his luxury vehicle’s road tax, Aliff replied that he had “many cars” and that these matters were not handled by him, but by his staff.

“Do you think I have time to buy road tax?” he added.

Apologies. sir, we know you’re busy posing for pictures of yourself counting money:

And also posing next to your other, non-impounded vehicles:

Not simply a beauty baron, Aliff has also reached levels of social media infamy mere peasants can only dream of with his lavish lifestyle.

He waded into controversial waters with animal lovers after it was discovered that he was keeping a large wild animal in the toilet of his home. The situation went viral after animal welfare services were called to the scene, and presumably someone informed Aliff that he can’t keep his giant Savannah cat Dodi next to the loo roll.

Aliff found himself in another maelstrom of fury, with accusations that he had purchased a baby girl after his wife befriended the child’s vulnerable mother via Facebook. At the time. he assured the public that he had not bought the baby, but had instead taken her in hoping for rewards in the afterlife.

D’Herb D’class D’act.
