It’s not the first time entrepreneur-wannabe actor-wannabe motivational speaker Aliff Syukri has made headlines for appalling behavior involving his adopted children — who, we’ll remind you, he has alternately been accused of buying on Facebook and preventing from seeing their biological parents — and yet here we are again.
Honestly, we’re on the fence about giving this human turd the attention he so clearly craves, but have decided to venture into the muck one last time.
Five days ago, Aliff, millionaire founder of local cosmetics company D’Herbs, took to his Instagram account to post a video clip of his adopted daughter in bed, covering her face and crying as he applied ointment to her back.
In case you’re wondering why ointment is necessary, he helpfully explained that he had just gotten done beating the 9-year-old with a cane for taking off her hijab in the company of other men. He had to teach her a lesson about a woman’s dignity, you see.

Tutup aurat (cover your aurat), he concluded with such profound wisdom it almost made you forget the time he cried like a baby on Instagram when people made fun of his horrible acting (more on that later!).
For the uninitiated out there, in Islam, aurat refers to parts of the body that should not be seen in public. While some say it refers to genitals and a woman’s breasts, some conservatives consider hair or even a woman’s voice to be aurat, as it could be a “temptation.”
So let’s recap. A 9-year-old girl is being taught “a lesson” about dignity by a man with a mile-long rap sheet of public crimes, misdemeanors and shameful incidents — all of which involve precisely zero dignity. LOL.
Hundreds of netizens quickly flooded his page, condemning his behavior, calling for an investigation by child services, as his actions were nothing short of abuse.

A thousand Twitter replies, retweets and likes quickly followed, rightly pointing out that Aliff Syukri was a child abuser and a generally deplorable human being, or “trash” as we like to say around here.

And yet, as in every past instance when his behavior has left Malaysians equal parts disgusted and nauseated, his charmed life appears will go on without a hitch, empowered by the attention he desperately seeks as he continues down the golden path of twat-dom.
Excuse our language, but here’s a brief rundown of the problematic incidents Aliff has found himself at the center of in just the past two years:
There was that time that he was keeping a Savannah cat in the bathroom of his home, leading to a raid of his house by the Department of Veterinary Services on suspicions of animal abuse. Authorities at the time asked him to take better care of his pet, Dodi, and he assured them he was building “a house” for the jungle cat.
Dodi has been markedly absent from his social media feed since.

Then there was that time that he and his wife were “given” a baby. Wait, scratch that – she procured a baby off Facebook.
Many accused Aliff of paying cash for the tot, but the whole money-for-baby element was irrelevant, he said, explaining he was simply looking for “pahala (divine rewards) in the hereafter.”
That baby has its own Instagram account that it never asked for, where Aliff can play dad of the year.

Oh, and let’s not forget the time he cut off contact with another one of his adopted children’s parents. She wanted her baby back, according to Aliff, who then proceeded to mock her and others in similar situations. After all, he said, if they were such perfect mothers, why did they give up their babies in the first place?
Extra points for forcing the child in question to star in the same video where Aliff condemns his biological mother.

Then there were all of those unpaid car taxes. Yep, a man who wants to teach a young girl about dignity had tried to get around his tax obligations by registering his luxury vehicles in Sarawak, Borneo, where rates were lower. His vehicles were impounded by officials. Oops.

Much further down the crimes against humanity scale was his attempt at acting last year in a in local action film Badang. At the time, despite it being widely panned, he called it better than Black Panther. When on the receiving end of the public’s withering critique, however, he cried REAL TEARS for his Instagram followers, saying he was being “attacked.”
One popular actress explained why it had so many bad reviews: Aliff has no artistic talent.

No, his talent seems to lie in getting attention, by any means necessary, even if it means beating his children, and filming the after-effects on camera for follows, comments, and views.
Dear reader, here is our novel suggestion: We need to stop talking about this man. Shame means nothing to the shameless; outrage emboldens the outrageous.
Remember this? This is the level of attention-seeking delusion we’re working with:

We need to forget him, without forgetting to go to a police station to fill out a police report when his behavior ventures out into dangerous waters – like abusing or (allegedly) buying a child.
And so that’s what we’re going to do. Forget him.
Got that, Aliff? You’ve been canceled.
We’ll do our part by making this our last piece about any of his shenanigans, keeping any coverage of him limited to stuff involving criminal charges only. Take care, sir, you will not be missed.
PSA over, and out.
