When we’re not busy deciphering the “sarcasm” in tweets from the femes, we’re just like everyone else, reading mStar, wondering what will catch our eye today.
Alert! Alert! Make your favorite auntie’s day a little bit sunnier by giving her the latest news from break-up land – her imaginary boyfriend, Datuk Hans Isaac, actor/producer/director, has just called off his wedding to former beauty queen Aileen Gabriella Robinson, whom he affectionately called “Gabby”.
The two were engaged earlier this year, and controversy soon followed, with a former boyfriend of Ms Robinson’s claiming that he had proposed to her just a month ago, and that she was simultaneously dating both men. At the time, Isaac defended her, calling the man a scorned lover (hell hath no fury, indeed).
Hans and Gabby (Habby?) had already postponed their July nuptials, citing “factors beyond the couple’s control.”
Nevertheless, the news comes as a shock, with Isaac issuing a statement telling the public that: “With a heavy heart, I announce that my plans to marry, having been engaged… earlier this year, have to be cancelled. The decision to cancel this wedding wasn’t easy, and it was made after thinking long and hard following the engagement.”
There you have it, aunties, uncles and anyone else not immune to charms of the very hensem Mr Isaac – our fantasies live on to dream another day. Also, sorry about your break-up.
