If you’re flying off with AirAsia this coming Tuesday, you best be at the airport early.

According to Bernama, AirAsia’s online check-in system will be undergoing a scheduled maintanence tomorrow (Tuesday), and will be offline for 27 hours.

The low cost carrier said in a statement cited by the news agency that online check-in or, access to Manage My Booking on their website, as well as the AirAsia mobile app would be unavailable starting midnight on Tuesday until 3am on Wednesday.

The airport kiosks would reportedly go offline as well.

Customers would also not be able to purchase flight tickets for seven hours, from 8pm on Tuesday until 3am on Wednesday, according to AirAsia.

However, AirAsia and AirAsia X flights would not be affected during the time period, although passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least four hours before their scheduled departure time if they wish to check-in or drop off their baggage at the airport counter.

“Guests travelling during the maintenance period are advised to check-in online, purchase add-ons and print their boarding passes earlier,” the airline said in the statement, adding that counter check-in fees will be waived during the maintanence period.
