AirAsia will be flying from KL to Cebu again

Now everyone can fly (to Cebu) (again) – AirAsia will be recommencing direct flights from Kuala Lumpur to Cebu in the Philippines, with three flights weekly from July 24 onwards.

The direct flight route, previously operated by AirAsia Zest, will be taken over by Malaysia AirAsia and will be the only airline providing direct flights from KL to Cebu, the low-cost carrier announced in a statement, The Sun Daily reports.

The direct flights will take off every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Cebu will be AirAsia’s third Filipino direct destination after Manila and Kalibo.

“We have created new markets for various destinations that we serve and Cebu will be no different as it is the gateway to many adventure activities and enables visitors to delve into the history and culture of the Philippines. We are proud to continue to operate this route as part of our extensive list of exciting destinations,” said AirAsia Bhd head of commercial Spencer Lee.
