Actress Rozita Che Wan dispenses cougarly advice to the newly-married Fazura

The news that everyone already knew and expected has finally been confirmed: popular Malaysian actors Fattah Amin and Nur Fazura Sharifuddin have tied the knot, four days after announcing their engagement.

The pair officially became husband and wife at 9:50pm last night, in a small ceremony limited to family members and close friends at a leading Kuala Lumpur hotel. Our vote? The Hyatt, because WHY NOT?!

The 34-year-old bride wore a baju kurung from Rizman Ruzaini, and the 27-year-old groom wore a matching suit.

The seven-year age-gap was not lost on all, and it took less than 24 hours for actress Rozita Che Wan to dispense a bit of unsolicited cougar advice to the newly-married Fazura.

From her own experience of marrying a man 11 years younger than her, 44-year-old Rozita told a news report that although every couple was different, it was about the give and take and that as a woman, her point of view is often different from her husband’s.

Sounds like pretty uneventful advice, to be honest. Thanks?

She added that by choosing younger men, she and Fazura must “adapt and accept” differing thoughts. For example, having many children is something that may not be possible, and couples should accept this and focus of quality over quantity.

All in all, totally unsolicited, but we’ll take it. While variety may be the spice of life, compromise keeps it going.
