Accident victim stabbed with a pen at the clinic

Now, this is as bizarre as it gets.

An accident victim has accused a medical assistant at a 1Malaysia clinic in Pahang of stabbing him with a pen while he was seeking treatment there.

According to Tamil daily Makkal Osai, 28-year-old A. Anbalagan and his friend were travelling by motorcycle last Friday night when they met with an accident. He suffered minor head injuries as a result.

When he went to the clinic, he claimed that the medical assistant on duty approached him and stabbed him with a pen, for no apparent reason.

State executive council member L. Manikam, who met Anbalagan at his home, said he has requested the Kuala Pilah district hospital director to investigate the strange incident.

“Proper action will be taken if this is found to be true,” said Manikam.

We are not sure, but maybe the medical personnel was trying to take a blood sample?
