Never kick a car. No matter how you feel about it. Or its owner.
But if you don’t heed this warning and kick it anyway, you could end up in jail like one man who was sent to prison for a day and fined RM700 for committing said offence.
At the Kuala Lumpur magistrate’s court yesterday, Chong Yew Fatt, 52, admitted to kicking a Proton Waja owned by deputy public prosecutor S. Purnima and causing damages of RM200, the New Straits Times reports.
That’s some kick.
The incident happened at the Bukit Jalil-Puchong highway near a Petronas station on Jan 14, the daily reported. The unrepresented Chong reportedly told the magistrate that he had been in a ‘very emotional’ state at the time of the incident.
“I was in a very emotional state at that time as I have just lost my job and i regret what i did, I promise never to commit the same offence,” he was quoted as saying.
