A fun fair ride turned out to be a nightmare after three people fell from it, the incident at Eco Grandeur, Puncak Alam last night injured two women and a child.

The three of them were rushed to the hospital after falling from the “Sotong Ride,” according to Kuala Selangor district police head Ramli Kasa.

He said that a team hurried to the scene of the incident after learning about it over the phone at around 8:50 pm.

“The three of them fell while the ride known as the ‘Sotong Ride’ was in motion. All the victims were taken to Shah Alam Hospital in an ambulance,” he said in a statement last night.

On social media, there have been a number of viral video clips and images that appear to show the ride losing control and the victims falling.

The matter would be looked into as one of operating without a license, according to Ramli.
