In Kajang, a group of 15 people got creative and decided that it would be best to pack and market an assortment of drugs worth RM25,000 in candy-filled containers.
These mixed bags of ‘goodies’ would then be delivered to their clients who would purchase them for prices as low as RM25, the New Straits Times reports.
“They used a container containing candy to hide the drugs to make it look less suspicious and deliver it to their buyers. However, their cover was blown,” Kajang police chief ACP Willey Richard was quoted as saying.
According to the daily, police seized 80.88g syabu, 77g Erimine-5, 32g ketamine and 3.58g heroine and 245 pills.
The suspects — aged between 19 and 42 — were caught in Semenyih and Cheras separately in a six-day police operation that began last Friday.
