A thousand Touch ’n Go cards will be distributed along cash lanes are all toll plazas on the Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway (Latar Expressway) on Aug 31.
The Star Online reports that the distribution of these cards would begin just after midnight on Monday until stocks run out.
“It is a timely move because the cashless toll payment system, either via Touch ‘n Go or SmartTag, will be implemented in all Malaysian highways starting next year,” Latar operations chief Ahmad Fuad Ahmad Shahimi was quoted as saying.
