A raid conducted by the Royal Malaysian Police’s Special Tactical Intelligence Narcotics Group (STING) in Puchong yesterday resulted in RM6 million worth of syabu, or methamphetamine, and the arrest of four suspects.

The STING operation at 3.30am yesterday morning found the illicit drugs, weighing in at 47 kilogrammes, hidden away in 159 women’s handbags.

Bukit Aman Narcotics CID director Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shriff told Bernama two foreign nationals were arrested at a parking lot in Puchong prior to the raids, while two other men were arrested at a house in Taman Puchong Prima.

The suspects, aged between 30 and 36 years old, are believed to have been involved in the drug ring since October.
