Hey, you know what the start of your dreary work week needs? News that you can probably Uber to a spot international icon Will Smith has stepped on less than an hour ago.
The star of Men in Black, Independence Day, and, uh, After Earth (and the upcoming Suicide Squad!) was surprisingly spotted in Kuala Lumpur, having reportedly arrived in the capital last night, timed to coincide with the return of an old friend: Big Willie’s Grammy Award co-winner and respected turntablist DJ Jazzy Jeff, who was here for yet another KL club set (he must really like it here).
You know, the guy Uncle Phil kept throwing out of the house in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air:
That stands for Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince, squares. Get widdit.
That was last night. Today, His Royal Freshness was seen walking down The Boulevard, located within MidValley City, like it wasn’t no thang:
Joe Lee, better known as his Twitter handle @klubbkiddkl, caught Smith as he was gladhanding the few Malaysians who knew he was in the vicinity:
Lee also received confirmation on the ground that Smith was in KL at least partly to attend a meeting with iFlix executives – for reasons unknown.
So… stay tuned (and subscribe), we guess?
In the meantime:
