Despite the spiraling COVID-19 crisis in Malaysia, beauty pageant organizers have been able to handpick three women to represent the country in various international competitions.
Architecture student Lishalliny Kanaran, 24, from Shah Alam, Selangor has clinched the Miss Grand Malaysia 2021 title, customer advocacy executive Poorani Rajoo, 24, from Kuala Lumpur, is the new Miss Intercontinental Malaysia, and model-fashion designer Malveen Kaur, 27, from Senai, Johor is the reigning Miss Malaysia Globe.
All three of them were expected to join the respective international rounds in the coming months.
“We are extremely proud to welcome the three queens who will assume national responsibility.
