The concert was slated for October 22 at National Stadium Bukit Jalil, 12 years after his first performance in Malaysia in 2011.
Bieber also postponed his Asian leg Justice World Tour concerts in Manila, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, India and Japan.
Meanwhile, fans have been given the option to either request for a full refund or hold on to their tickets until new concert dates become available.
The news come after Bieber’s announcement last month that he was taking some time off from his career to focus on his health. He was recently diagnosed with Ramsay-Hunt syndrome which causes face paralysis.
