Oh no! Even Malaysian celebrities are doing the Pen Pineapple thing

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, the Internet has been dominated by three words this past week: apple, pineapple and pen.

If you still do not have any idea what we’re talking about here, here’s a brief rundown: Japanese comedian Kosaka Daimaou took the Internet by storm last week by uploading a music video onto his YouTube page.

The music video — titled “Pen Pineapple Apple Pen” or PPAP for short — features a character created by Kosaka named Piko-Taro singing and dancing to a stupidly infectious beat as he fuses a pen with an apple and a pineapple, ultimately forming Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen.

Really well.

The music video went super viral, amassing an impressive one million views in less than 24 hours.

The video has gotten so popular, even Malaysian celebrities are now doing their own version of the PPAP (oh dear lord).

First off, we have Malaysia’s very own supermodel Amber Chia doing the PPAP dance with her six-year-old son Ashton Wong:

Then, professional racer and drifter Leona Chin also came up with her own music video, props and all:

National diver Leong Mun Yee jumped onto the PPAP bandwagon by bringing a real apple and pineapple to the party (we like how she came prepared):

Hitz FM’s RD and Arnold, meanwhile, won the Internet with their hilarious version of the PPAP:

Oh, if you want to do your own version of the PPAP (for whatever reason, we don’t care), Piko-Taro has released a dance tutorial:
