Guess who’s back, back again!
Controversial rapper Namewee has released yet another music video.
Titled “Lokap”, he announced the release of the music video on his official Facebook page last Friday.
According to the 33-year-old, the music video was ‘inspired’ by the time he spent behind bars back in August.
In the five-minute video, Namewee described the deplorable condition of the lock-up, which he claimed was “small and in poor condition“.
The music video has since gone viral on social media, having amassed more than 300,000 views and shared more than 2,700 times.
Meanwhile, Penang police have reportedly yet to decide whether to take action against Namewee for releasing the music video.
State police chief Datuk Abdul Gaffar Rajab told The New Straits Times that the five-minute clip merely depicts his own perception of the condition in the police cell.
“It was merely his own version of experience,” Abdul Gaffar was quoted by the daily as saying.
Back in August, Namewee spent five days in jail after his last music video “Oh My God” was claimed to have insulted Islam and several other religions.
