Jazz-pop singer-songwriter Bihzhu has always been a harbringer of good, soothing cheer whenever she pops up on the local music radar, and her brand new single is no exception.
The artist behind the sleeper 2011 hit ‘The Heart Way’ switches it up for 2K15, with a more mellow, introspective sound and scope on ‘Bright Veins’, the first in what we hope to be a slew of new material from her this year.
This new track, complete with a gorgeous music video directed and produced by Jeremy Teo and Chris Lim of The Spacemen, sees Bihzhu reaffirming her self-worth, bravely staking claim to all that makes her who she is, from the roots on up.
Expect to see her new album dropping some time towards the end of the year. In the meantime, you can pick up a digital copy of ‘Bright Veins’ on iTunes and Bandcamp.
