HotFM said today that it has lined up 10 new talents to take over radio DJ Shuk while it investigates his alleged cheating affair.
Starting today, the new talents will take turns replacing Shuk, 34, whose real name is Mohammad Shukri Bin Mohamed Shahar, on his breakfast show Geng Pagi Hot (Hot Morning Gang). They join the other two hosts Mohamad Hafizie Roslan, or Fizie, and Shahmira Muhamad, or Shuib Sepahtu.
“HotFM has planned for new voices to replace Shuk throughout his suspension,” station spokesperson Nik Shahrul Ezwan told Coconuts today, noting that the new talents replacing Shukri were “not celebrities.”
“The audience will only know of their identities when they go on air this week,” he added. A duo known only as Nad and Izwan went live on the show today. It runs daily from 6 to 10am.
Shukri did not respond to online requests for comment as of publication time.
His wife Rossalennah Natassyiah Asshaferah exposed the alleged extramarital affair on Instagram Saturday, through a series of posts that included texts purportedly from someone claiming to be the neighbor of the mistress named “Fara.”
Among the things that person said was that Shukri had been spotted climbing out of Fara’s window and that his shoes were once placed at the doorstep.
A now-deleted Instagram video previously shared by Rossalennah showed a pair of leather shoes outside an apartment. In the video caption, the wife said she was “done crying.”
“@Shuk_hotfm, you come back home and lie to me every day,” she said. “I have gone on my knees and begged you to love us. I love you and our kids, but you’re breaking me every day. I’m done crying.”
Shuk has been married to Rossalennah since 2015. They have two children together.
