A Malaysian DJ is back in the spotlight after a clip emerged of him making a sexual innuendo toward an 18-year-old guest on his morning show.
Ayu Aziz, 27, uploaded footage of former HotFM radio host DJ Shuk Sahar commenting on her sister’s age yesterday after the DJ threatened to sue her for a series of tweets accusing him of saying suggestive things during a radio interview.
“Fuuh sedang elok (she’s ripe),” Shuk could be heard saying when Ayu’s sister gave her age during a January 2020 interview.
When his colleague Shuib Sepahtu asked what he meant by that, Shuk faltered and said, “She’s 18 … so I meant that it’s a good time to explore the world.”
Shuk, 34, left HotFM in January this year after his wife uploaded a clip of him cheating on her.
“We laughed and pretended we didn’t understand what he meant because we didn’t want to make a scene on air,” Ayu, who was also a guest on the show, wrote on Twitter. “I uploaded this video as proof for my own defense.”
Last week, it was during Shuk’s interview with actor Fauzi Nawawi that prompted scandal after the latter verbally acted out a rape scene in detail. Now a host of talk show Rumah No. 107, Shuk had asked Fauzi to describe the rape scene so he could “imagine it.”
People called out the former radio personality’s “disgusting” behavior on Twitter and urged fans to stop supporting him.
