BALLET ILLUMINATIONS @ KLPAC, KL

A medley of diverse and exquisite ballet performed by award-winning choreographers at Singapore Dance Theatre’s (SDT), Ballet Illuminations is a showcase of the finest examples of definitive choreography. Presenting memorable works including Divertimento No. 15 by George Balanchine, one of the twentieth century’s most prolific and famous choreographers, Bittersweet by Natalie Weir, acclaimed choreographer best known for her style and her touching insight into human nature, and also Shadow’s Edge by Ma Cong, Resident Choreographer of Tulsa Ballet.

Paddle Valley was a lively 1910s town which turned dull and solemn after master puppeteer Pong Tang died. Pong Tang’s daughter Carissa also went missing. A devastated lover and a rival seeks out Carissa to get Pong Tang’s secret sketches. Will Carissa be found? Will the secret sketches be saved?
This 2 -Act original musical will feature more than twenty original songs by Nick Choo and is directed by Gabbie Ngoh, producer of Stage 69 Productions. TECHNOLOGUE @ UNDER9 KL
The labour of love that gave a home to the 90s 4/4 sounds comes again with another edition of Technologue, this time being headlined by no other than the delicious rhythm and drops from house DJ masters Notion A and Jason Woon, with the theme of diversity and honest pulsating sounds that will abduct you into another dimension of music, with cuts and jives to make Saturday night special.
Notion A has been spinning to educate and entertain like-minded music enthusiasts for the past decade. His sound is an infusion of his skills as well as a buffet of influences that focus on the audio, visual, people and techno. He now runs his own record label, SoulMatters Recordings together with 2 other partners. From Singapore, SoulMatters Recordings became the brainchild of their project with a purpose of further collaborating and releasing electronic music with soul.
