Celebrate the New Year at Singapore’s biggest countdown party at Marina Bay

PRESENTED BY

Don’t let New Year’s resolutions hold you back from indulging just yet! Let’s ring in the 2020’s together in the most memorable way – by counting down at Singapore’s biggest event, Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2020. Watch as that iconic city skyline lights up and people from all walks of life, and all different countries, come together to celebrate the turn of a new decade with an exciting line-up of events, experiences, shows, food and drinks.

Truly something for everyone this New Year’s Eve

Presented by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), the party extends from Marina Bay to the Civic District with events to dazzle the entire fam jam and friend jam. Fancy some brilliant light projection displays, multi-sensory musicals, or riveting international circus acts? How about music performances and an array of family-friendly outdoor activities?

The Great Circus of Europe presented by Uncle Ringo is another unique event that everyone in the family can enjoy. Coming to Singapore for the first time this New Year’s Eve, the program will feature a thrilling line-up of international circus acts. Get up close to acrobats, gravity-defying motorbikes, contortionists, and (gulp) clowns. There will also be carnival games, thrilling rides, and delicious carnival treats at the food street.

A few highlights to look forward to

STAR ISLAND SINGAPORE COUNTDOWN EDITION will return to The Float @ Marina Bay for the second year in a row, whisking visitors off on an intergalactic adventure with a new theme – 2019: A SPACE ODYSSEY (We’ve definitely got the attention of our fellow sci-fi nerds!) The show will see Japanese fireworks, pyrotechnics, 3D surround sound, and stage performances, all interwoven into a mind-bending immersive experience.

Music lovers can look forward to Mediacorp’s Let’s Celebrate 2020 countdown concert at The Promontory. It will bring together the best of music, dance, and fashion, and celebrate Singapore’s top talent chops.

Count down to new beginnings with the ones you love best as you take in live performances by top artists at Esplanade Presents: Come Together. Drop by Starlight @ The Lawn for family-friendly fun with bouncy castles, roving and stage performances, food and beverage options and more.

Walk this way

The streets at the Civic District will be closed once again to create a special car-free zone as an extension of the celebrations around the bay. Stroll over to Unwind @ Civic District where a variety of activities at the Empress Lawn and along Connaught Drive are perfect for enjoying the night with friends and loved ones while indulging in lots of tasty food and refreshing drinks.

 More than just a party

The Build a Dream light projection shows featuring artworks by individuals from SHINE Children and Youth Services, Beyond Social Services, Dyslexia Association of Singapore and Yishun Community Hospital will transform the facades of The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands, and the Merlion. Watch as hopes and dreams for Singapore, as envisioned by the contributing artists, transform iconic buildings in the last week of December.
