Ikea Malaysia has issued a recall for its dark chocolate products.
In a statement on Monday, the company said those who have bought its CHOKLAD MÖRK 60% and CHOKLAD MÖRK 70% are welcome to return the items for a full refund.
While they are safe to consume, Ikea said: “Ikea wants customers who have bought dark chocolate CHOKLAD MÖRK 60% and CHOKLAD MÖRK 70%, to be informed that the presence of milk and hazelnut is insufficiently declared on the product packaging.”
“Customers allergic to milk or hazelnuts or otherwise concerned, are welcome to return affected products at the Swedish Food Market in Ikea stores for a full refund.”
The recall affects all CHOKLAD MÖRK 60% and CHOKLAD MÖRK 70%. The best before date can be found on the back side of the chocolate bar packaging (YYYY/MM/DD).
