Oh you randy, randy firefighter fetishists.
Remember those Fire and Rescue Department 2015 calendars? The ones with all the buffed-up, good-looking firefighters adorning the pages of each month, just waiting for you to flip over to them and their rippling muscles?
Well, those calendars are all gone, and it’s all because of you thirsty fans wanting a constant reminder at home of those mighty (fire) hoses.
Despite the calendars being meant for internal department circulation (because firefighters can be firefighter fetishists too), once the images of the calendar went viral, members of the public flooded the Fire and Rescue Department’s Facebook page to ask for – nay, demand – a copy of their own. The ever-accommodating Bomba dudes complied, and now there aren’t any left.
But true to their name, the Fire and Rescue Department is once again coming to the rescue – they’ve ordered reprints.
“Demand was so high that we are reprinting the calendars. However, they are not for sale. If members of the public wish to have copies, they may attend Fire and Rescue department events or activities where they will be given out,” the deaprtment’s corporate division management assistant director Siti Rohani Mohd Nadir told The Star Online‘s Dina Murad.
So there you have it – if you want a Bomba calendar from now on, you’re going to have to meet them in person and ask for one yourself, so they can see your thirsty, thirsty faces when you do it.
