Expect an explosion of awesomeness this Saturday!

The Aspiring Youth Leadership Conference (AYLC 2016) is back, following the tremendous success of the first ever AYLC held last year. And, from the looks of it, this year’s conference is set to be even better!

The first AYLC in 2015 set the bar high, as it featured a lineup of stellar speakers, like Datuk Vinod Sekhar, President and Group CEO of Petra Group, Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir, and Eric Feng, public speaking coach and author.

Other speakers at AYLC 2015 included Luca Barberis, MD of Zalora Malaysia, Michael Teoh, Co-Author of Potential Matrix and National Youth Icon, and Austin Wong, youth entrepreneur.

AYLC 2015 was the brainchild of Khoo Swee Kiem, who was then an undergraduate at University of Nottingham Malaysian Campus’ business school. AYLC aims to crack open the secrets of high achievers and helping youths apply them.

In conjunction with the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus’s (UNMC) 16th anniversary, the university will be hosting the AYLC 2016.

“Innovating Your Own Uniqueness”

AYLC 2016 will be rolling with this theme in mind. Several speakers and panelists have been lined up, each one a recognised leader in his or her respective field.

The aim of AYLC is to inspire youths to innovate and unlock their personal potential. It provides the platform for social and business leaders to share their stories – their ups and downs, successes and well as failures – with youths to motivate and empower them towards greatness.

AYLC 2016 also provides the opportunity for these leaders and youth to network as well as for companies to discover up and coming talents.

AYLC’s speakers and panellists have been selected are from diverse sectors. They will be sharing their unique perspectives on leadership and life. This year, the speakers are:

1. Roshan Thiran (Founder & CEO of Leaderonomics)- Keynote Speaker

2. Deborah Melissa Bottreau (President of the Malaysian Association of Asean Young Entrepreneurs (MAAYE) and Managing Director of Sienna DMB Sdn. Bhd)

3. Chris Leong (Co-founder and Director of Soft Space)

4. Tommy Lee (The Bread Engineer @ Tommy Le Baker)

5. Mujahidin Zulkiffli (Head of Public Engagement, Petra Group)
