Umbrellas aren’t enough! Hong Kong design firm releases tear gas safety infographic

Apparently, there’s more to tear gas protection than umbrellas – who knew? Local design gurus Entendre Studios have whipped up this handy little infographic in a bid to educate protesting Hongkongers on how best to stay safe if faced with another assault from riot police.

As well as wearing googles and face masks (duh), the advice includes getting to higher ground, because gas particles can’t follow you upstairs, washing your hands, airing out your clothes, and removing contact lenses.
